execv() -- General Function (libc) Execute a load module #include <unistd.h> execv(file, argv) char *file, *argv[]; The function execv() calls the COHERENT system call execve() to execute a program. It specifies arguments as a single, NULL-terminated array of parameters, called argv. execv() passes the environment of the calling program to the called program. It returns -1 for errors, such as file being nonexistent, not accessible with execute permission, having a bad format, or too large to fit in memory.
